There is also a drawstring so you can tighten them a little bit more for thinner boys.
The colour is a good dark grey which washes well. My tip is to hang them on the washing line inside out so they don't fade in the summer sun.
Please note the colour is not quite as dark as it appears in this image. The shade is only slightly darker than Midford shorts.
